Today starts my first blog entry. I have wanted to start a blog for months and it is finally all coming together.
I am starting this blog to share my passion for decorating on a budget and also how to coupon and save money.
Today I am going to show you a printer cart that we have had forever at our house. It has been in the basement not being used for a couple of years now. You are probably going to look at it and think "What was she thinking"??? Throw it away!!!

I went to TJMaxx and bought an outdoor tablecloth, you know the plastic kind with the flannel back on them. The one I purchased was a Cynthia Rowley. I love the colors in this paisley print. The first thing that I did was to cut the tablecloth down to the size of the table top and the back side of the cart, just cutting one big piece. I then primed the table where I would be painting it with Kinnzer oil based primer. Then I took some paint that I already had downstairs that I painted an armoire with last year (I will show you that in another post) and painted the sides of the cart. After the paint dried I sprayed adhesive on the table top and glued the tablecloth down.
Then I bought a yard of outdoor fabric and made simple curtains to cover the shelf. I hung the curtains with tension rods.
I have this cart outside on our screened in porch and it is perfect for serving drinks on.
